How a thread fountain works
A thread fountain consists of a lower water reservoir and an upper water distribution system with many nozzles and a matching number of adjustable transparent threads.
The technical equipment is housed in the water reservoir:
- pump
- overflow and drain tank
- water make-up system
- power supply
- underwater lighting
- Mylar thread guiding system
Shapes and combinations
Threads can be arranged into columns, spirals and curtains, and complemented with lighting and fountain jets in the reservoir.
